The development of WeWoThom

We have been dealing with high-tone frequency therapy since 1997 and were able to gain a lot of experience in the treatment of pain patients with various indications using stationary high-tone frequency therapy devices right from the start.

The devices were designed for clinical use and, at around 10,000 euros, were correspondingly expensive. This meant that buying their own device was out of the question for most patients. They could be treated (for a fee) in a practice, which was also associated with the corresponding expenditure of time.

Patients kept asking us if we could develop a small mobile device for private use. And it should be affordable for everyone.

Despite the use of modern processor technology, it was difficult to generate the necessary frequency spectrum. But a year later we at least had a prototype. There was still a lot to be improved on this in order to ensure practicability and longevity for the user. The therapy program also had to be further developed to cover additional indications.

In order to be able to use the device medically and also to be able to offer our users maximum safety, we then wanted to have our therapy device certified as a medical product. For this, further high requirements have to be met. Clinical proof of effectiveness also had to be provided. This process has to be continued until today. It's a lot of work, but we think we owe it to our users.

And finally, we also wanted to set up an environmentally conscious production with enthusiastic employees.

We are now 3 device generations further. The teething troubles are gone. We have thousands of enthusiastic users.

Our pain therapy without medication WeWoThom is not only available in Germany, but also in other European countries.
